Until it is recorded, the written steps below are complete on their own.
Steps
- Open Resume.
- Drop your file into the upload area, or press it to choose a file from your device.
- Wait for reading to finish. The row for that upload shows its progress.
- Read what was captured. Check your job titles, dates, employers and skills line by line.
- Correct anything that was read incorrectly before you attest.
- Attest the version. Attesting is your statement that the content is true and yours.
- Upload again later whenever your history changes. Each upload becomes its own version, and the earlier versions are kept.
Worth knowing
- Everything on your resume is candidate attested. TraceScout does not independently verify your employment, qualifications or skills.
- Only the attested version is used for scoring and for tailoring. An unattested upload sits idle.
- Versions matter later. A tailored resume is checked against the version of your attested source resume it was produced from.
