TraceScout Terms of Service

TraceScout is a product of PostaraTrend Technologies Inc., a company incorporated in Alberta, Canada. By creating an account or using TraceScout, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

TraceScout reads the resume you upload, matches you with relevant postings, and on your request generates tailored resumes, cover letters, and interview practice checked against your attested resume. You may also create a verification link to share your attested resume with a specific employer or recruiter. The service may also provide a career dashboard, application tracking, opportunity monitoring, and market or company watch context based on your saved search and activity.

Market, opportunity, and company context is informational. It may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable, and does not guarantee that a posting remains available or that using TraceScout will produce a particular employment outcome.

You must provide accurate information when you create an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be at least sixteen years old to use TraceScout.

You keep ownership of your resume and the content you upload. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of what you attest to, including your work history and the claims a reference is asked to confirm. TraceScout does not verify the truth of your resume content beyond the specific confirmation steps described in the service, and a verification link reflects what you have attested, not an independent background check.

TraceScout offers a permanent free tier covering account creation, resume upload, attestation, matches, and honest gap information. Paid features, including tailoring, export, verification links, and cover letters, are available through a monthly subscription or a one time payment for a single tailored application. Current prices are shown at checkout and may vary by region. Payment is processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. A one time payment is not refundable once the tailored deliverable has been generated.

You agree not to misuse TraceScout, attempt to disrupt or overload the service, submit content on behalf of someone else without their knowledge, or use TraceScout to create attestations or references you know to be false.

TraceScout relies on Supabase for account and data storage, Stripe for payment processing, and Anthropic for the AI models behind matching, tailoring, and interview practice. Outages or changes on their side may affect TraceScout, and we are not liable for them.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.

For account or personal-data deletion requests, contact us. Self-service account deletion is not currently available; privacy requirements and applicable retention obligations must be reviewed.

TraceScout is provided as is, without warranty that it will find you a job or that any match, tailored document, or interview practice session will lead to a specific outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PostaraTrend Technologies Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Alberta.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
