When you upload your resume, TraceScout breaks it into numbered lines and asks you to attest that they are true. That attested record is the only material TraceScout will ever use to write about you. Tailoring and cover letters never add a skill, a number, or a claim that your attested lines do not support.
An independent verifier checks every line.
Every tailored resume is checked line by line by a separate verifier before you see it. The verifier never sees the job posting, so it cannot be tempted to bend your history toward the role. It answers one question only: does your attested resume actually support this line. A tailored resume is only marked verified when every line passes.
Cover letters are checked claim by claim.
When you ask for a cover letter, TraceScout writes it from the same attested resume and checks every claim against your source lines. A cover letter is only marked verified when every claim passes. If a claim cannot be supported, the letter is refused.
Sometimes the honest answer is no.
When a truthful tailored resume or cover letter cannot be verified, TraceScout declines and tells you so, and your resume stays untouched. We consider a refusal a feature, not a failure. It means the same discipline that protects an employer from an inflated resume is protecting you from sending one.
Interview preparation.
You can also practise your answers. Type what you would say, and TraceScout checks every sentence against your attested resume, showing which claims stand on it and which do not, along with whether you answered the question, gave a specific example, and stated a result. It never writes the answer for you and never gives a score.
