TraceScoutFind the job. Prove the resume.

Hire for your own team, on your own terms

See how a business or team that hires for itself adds a job, reviews a candidate's attested resume, scores the fit, and records where they stand, all inside one workspace. This is a real walkthrough of the live product.

  1. On screen

    Create the workspace

A Hiring Workspace is for a business or a team that hires for itself. You become the first administrator and your personal TraceScout account stays as it is. The workspace starts with capacity for 5 candidates, and the people on your hiring team do not use that capacity.

  2. On screen

    Add the job

Choose the country, then enter the job title, the employer name, and the location. The employer name is filled in from your workspace name and stays editable. The posting URL is optional, because a role may never have been posted publicly. The full posting text is required, so paste the whole posting rather than a summary.

  3. On screen

    Your jobs

Your jobs are listed with their title, employer, location, and the date they were added, newest first. The same jobs appear when you choose a job to score a candidate against.

  4. On screen

    Invite your hiring team

An administrator can invite a Hiring Manager who works with candidates, or another Administrator who can also invite people. TraceScout does not send the email for you, so copy the link and send it yourself. A link stops working after seven days.

  5. On screen

    Invite a candidate

Create a candidate invitation for someone who has already agreed to share their information with you. They open the link, sign in or create a free account, see who invited them and what your team will be able to see, and accept. Nothing is shared before they accept.

  6. On screen

    Score a candidate

Open a candidate, choose a job, and score the pairing. You then read the score with the strengths and the gaps. This is decision support for your team, a reading of one resume against one posting, and it does not replace your interview or your judgement. If the candidate later attests a newer resume version, the pairing is marked out of date and you can score it again.

  7. On screen

    Tailored resume

A tailored resume is written from the candidate's attested source resume and verified against that version. Once it is ready you can open it read only in your workspace. Verified means it was checked against the attested source resume, not that any employment, qualification, or skill was independently verified.

  8. On screen

    Record the stage

On a scored pairing you can record one of six stages: Reviewed, Shortlisted, Interview, Offer, Hired, and Not moving forward. The stage is your own record. It does not change the score and it is never presented as a TraceScout judgement of the person.

TraceScout supports your judgement. It does not replace it.
